
The Brazilian economy has recently begun to accelerate. Brazil is the largest country in South America, and it dominates the market on the continent. But it has also moved up the ranks to become the ninth-largest economy in the world. After years of economic hardship, the country is finally emerging into the international scene, as its mining, agricultural, service and manufacturing sectors expand. Brazil recorded a 4.5% growth rate in 2007, and experts look for that number to increase this year. The economy shows no signs of slowing, and I think that the Brazilian economy offers great opportunities for investment. So I will continue to look for profitable opportunities in the country.
